I have had the opportunity to work with John Lo and Interface Architecture on a number of projects. I find their leadership, professionalism, experience, and attention to detail to be among the best in our industry for the design of commercial developments. I appreciate the collaborative approach they bring to our projects and I would not hesitate to give them the highest possible recommendation
We worked with Ken and the Interface architectural team on our Williams Road multi-family project (Crimson Maple Estates). There are so many great things I could list about Ken and the Interface team. They went above and beyond to exceed expectations and delivered an amazing design. We were honoured to be nominated for the Richmond Lulu Award.
We engaged Interface Architecture to work on a difficult project with lots of special program requirements, custom design features and a challenging steep terrain. John and the whole Interface team were an essential part of the success of our venture. Their services throughout all the stages of the project (design, municipal approvals, tendering and contract management) allowed us to complete the building on budget while meeting all of our expectations. Looking forward to working with them on the next phase.
We worked with Ken and his team at Interface Architecture on our mixed-use multi-family development in Steveston known as Chatham 3755. They worked very hard with our team to ensure that the product was designed and constructed to meet the needs of our stakeholders, clientele and city officials. They acted professionally, ethically and were responsive to our requests for clarification and additional information when needed. We thank them for their efforts and look forward to future opportunities with them.
We have been dealing with Interface for the last ten years and have found them to be very knowledgeable and professional. They provide a high level of service with prompt responses and turnaround. We have developed over 100 acres with Interface, and they have been experts with their optimal planning and use of land space.
Interface Architecture had been assisting us, Richmond Capstan Alliance Church, in several successful building projects over the last 25 years. Starting from our home church, North Richmond Alliance Church…designing the main sanctuary and fully developing this church site with several subsequent creative expansion projects.
Interface Architecture is currently working with our church redevelopment project located in Capstan Village, one of the Richmond’s fastest growing area. This is a large scale rezoning application composed of residential condos, commercial, institutional and affordable housing, which was jointly submitted with Dava Development to City of Richmond. The joint rezoning submission has been proceeding very well, thanks to John Lo for liaising with multiple stakeholders. Throughout the years, Interface Architecture has proven to be creative, efficient, and reliable in delivering outstanding professional architectural and building development services!
Our latest project was a re-zoning application for a mixed use development project in Langford, BC. John and the Interface team looked after all aspects of the application resulting in a very smooth process, and the application moved comfortably to approval by Langford’s City Council. The final proposed design for the site is aesthetically sound in addition to being both efficient and practical. This is only one example of the professional and experienced service we have been receiving from Interface Architecture since 1989. While our projects varies in scope and size, we have always relied on Interface’s advice and experience to provide the most effective solutions, as well as helping us make informed decisions on our projects.
Working with Ken and his team was a pleasure. They balanced the architectural vision and the project realities beautifully; they had a deep understanding of our priorities and operated responsively and professionally to all matters. The blend of their design sense and an understanding of ours led to a beautiful, practical, and unique project.
Just a note to commend you [Ken Chow] on the excellent design of the Four Points Sheraton Hotel. Your professionalism and attention to detail was a major factor in the success of this project. Without your prompt response to owners’ changes and requests for information, we would never have been able to meet the owners’ demanding schedule. It is a rare occasion we see such service in today’s competitive marketplace.
